Police look for suspect who snatched woman's Gucci handbag
Chiswick Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after a women had her handbag snatched as she walked home. The incident happened on 20th September 2009 around 02.00 at the junction of Chiswick High Road and Windmill Road. The 36 year old female victim was walking towards her home when the suspect jumped out from some bushes, snatched the black Gucci handbag which contained cash and bank cards and ran off down Windmill Road, across Chiswick Common towards Turnham Green Tube station. The suspect is described as a white male, aged about 40 years, very skinny and gaunt, jet black hair, wearing a grey top, shiny Adidas tracksuit bottoms which had fluorescent triangles at the bottom.
