Chiswick Man Sentenced For Cannabis Crimes | |||
Eight month prison term and ordered to forfeit £5,000
Following a drug raid in Harvard Road earlier this year, Andrew Stirling, aged 25, of Harvard Road, pleaded guilty at Feltham Magistrates Court to possession of cannabis with intent to supply and possession of over £5,000 cash relating to drug supply. He appeared at Isleworth Crown Court on Friday 17th July where he was sentenced to eight months imprisonment and ordered to forfeit the cash found. The raid was executed by Turnham Green Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) and came as a direct result of local residents raising their concerns with the team. Turnham Green SNT will be conducting a series of open street meetings across the ward over the summer, where officers will be available to hear local concerns and issues. For more details about where and when meetings are being held in your area, check the Met Police website www.met.police.uk/saferneighbourhoods and enter your postcode to find the team."
