At some time between 7.00pm on Thursday 9th February and 7.45am on Friday 10th February, a thoughtless thief stole an electric scooter from the ground floor of a block of flats.

The 64 year old female victim had left her red Prestige Mobility Scooter, valued at around £2,800, next to the railings outside Flaxman House on Devonshire Street.  When she woke the following morning, it had done.

The scooter was the disabled victim's only means of getting around and she is now virtually confined to her home because of the theft.
