Teenage neo-Nazi Oskar Dunn-Koczorowski of St Albans Avenue, Chiswick has been given a custodial sentence for terrorism offences.

The 18-year-old was sentenced at the Old Bailey this week having pleaded guilty in December to two counts of encouraging terrorism. He was given an 18-month detention and training order having entered his guilty plea while still a youth. This is understood to mean that he will spend part of the time in custody but at other times will be allowed out under the supervision of the Youth Offending Team. He gave no reaction to the sentence when appearing by video link from HMP Belmarsh.

He was convicted along with Michal Szewczuk from Leeds whom he had come into contact with on social media. They produced propaganda for a neo-Nazi group called the Sonnenkrieg Division. Material published included the branding of Prince Harry as a ‘race traitor’ for marrying a mixed race woman and praise for mass murderer Anders Breivik. The pair had joint control of the Sonnenkrieg Division page on the Gab social media site which was used to encourage terrorist attacks.

The Sonnenkrieg Division had been the subject of a BBC investigation last year in which it revealed that it had been set up to emulate the Atomwaffen Division, an American neo-Nazi group which has been linked to five murders. The pair were arrested the day after the BBC broadcast the results of their investigation.

Dunn-Koczorowski had posted comments online saying that it would be acceptable to behead babies to stop them becoming "leftist politicians" and said "terror is the best political weapon for nothing drives people harder than a fear of sudden death". Having been placed on conditional bail last December he breached his bail conditions by continuing to post extremist views up until May. The judge said his apparent lack of remorse was ‘very concerning’.

When Szewczuk’s home was searched he was found in possession of bomb-making instructions and files from Islamist groups on how to conduct terror attacks as well as a white resistance manual. He was jailed for 4 years.
