A teenager was stabbed during an incident at Chiswick Park tube station yesterday (December 13th)

British Transport Police said “Shortly after 5pm yesterday evening (13/12) officers were called to Chiswick Park London Underground station after reports of a serious assault in the ticket hall.

“Officers attended alongside paramedics and a man in his late teens was taken to hospital for treatment to two stab wounds. He remains in hospital in a stable condition which is not believed to be life threatening.

“An investigation is now underway to understand exactly what happened and who is responsible. Anyone who was at Chiswick Park station at approximately 5pm yesterday and saw what happened is asked to get in touch.

“You can contact BTP by sending a text to 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 424 of 13/12/18. There have been no arrests at this time.”

The station was closed for some time and has now reopened.
