Local officers find large quantity of class A drugs and a knife on suspect Police officers in the Riverside Safer Neighbourhood Team have making an arrest of a person in relation to an alleged theft of a motor vehicle found them in possession of a large quantity of Class A drugs and a knife. The arrest was made while the local team was on Autumn Night Patrols - these were introduced as part of an extra effort to combat crime which seasonally increases under cover of early darkness.
The officers made the arrest for possession of a large quanity of Class A drugs, as well as alleged theft of a motor vehicle, and possession of a knife.
Unfortunately suspects had left but the victim was happy to have his
bike back, which was worth £15,000. |
