Mini heatwave shows Chiswick House Grounds at their best

Just as conkers are starting to fall from the horse-chestnuts it seems that Chiswick is set for one of the hottest days of the year. Tomorrow (Thursday 28th September) is predicted to see temperatures as high as 28 degrees centrigrade which will make today's unseasonably warm 22 degrees seem almost chilly.

Local interior designer Fiona Bell was in Chiswick House grounds this morning and took these pictures with the late summer sun putting an extra glow on the gardens.

Henry Riggall also took this picture whilst walking down Fisher's Lane towards Turnham Green.
