Marco Pierre White Junior selling t-shirts to raise funds for local charity
Chiswick based Marco Pierre White Junior, the former Big Brother contestant and son of the celebrity chef, has told OK! magazine that he has turned his life around since taking up with a new girlfriend and is now doing work for charity. He is quoted in the magazine as saying that he had completely given up cocaine and is now helping the Smiling World Foundation. Marco Pierre White Junior in the Big Brother House (Channel Five) After visiting the White Dental Surgery in Chiswick to have cosmetic work done on his teeth he learnt about the work of Raffaella Gabassi and the charity she founded and wanted to help out. The foundation works in Sierra Leone to help improve oral health in communities where dental care is normally not available. Marco has helped them raise funds by selling their t-shirts although he is not employed by them and has no permanent role at the organisation. Raffaella Gabassi said, “We are really grateful for the assistance that Marco has given us in our fundraising efforts, and wish him well for the future.” Marco was reported as saying about his new partner Francesca, "She’s the most amazing person I’ve ever met, I don’t know how to explain it. I know I’ve been engaged a couple of times, but that was mostly just – I was out of my face and on a lot of substances at the time, but with her, it’s just completely different. “ He said after being a party animal and doing 'a copious amount of substances' he was sorting himself out and that he was a changed man. He said that there was no point in going back to rehab because he didn’t feel he had a problem since finding love with Francesca. February 17, 2017
