‘Posher Than Posh' Sophie Arrives In Chiswick

Miss Ellis Bextor moves in with her musician husband to be closer to her mother

If further gentrification were needed, the arrival of Sophie Ellis-Bextor would be the cherry on Chiswick's cake.

The singer, who once claimed she was 'Posher than Posh', has completed her move to W4 after accepting an offer £350,000 less than her original asking price for her former home close to Portobello Road.

Sophie lives with her husband, The Feeling's guitarist Richard Jones, and their two sons. Her mother, former Blue Peter presenter Janet Ellis, lives close by.

With the stresses of moving house now over, Sophie is concentrating on her forthcoming album.

"I'm working on finishing my album as soon as I can, but I've got lots of work to do," she told T4 on the Beach. "It's coming together really well and hopefully I'll have new material out before the end of the year."
