“I’m absolutely speechless. There are not many places where you can arrive at work in the morning and leave in the afternoon with a brand new Smart Roadster. I am certainly going to enjoy this weekend!”

Biju Mohan, a Software Developer for Teletext arrived at work as usual at 9am and by the time he left at 5pm he was the proud owner of a brand new Smart Roadster worth over £12,000.

Members of staff from all the companies within Chiswick Business Park competed throughout the afternoon in four gruelling heats. The competition, run by the Enjoy-work team, consisted of a glitzy game show host who called safe combinations while hundreds of park employees waited below, with baited breath. If the combination opened the safe they had chosen, they could proceed to the next round.

By 4pm only three contestants remained in the competition. The game show host called for silence to the crowds who had gathered to cheer their colleagues on. The first to enter the correct code into the safe won the car. Biju Mohan entered the correct code and won the day, and the Smart Roadster.

The two runners up were Robyn Ferrar of Onetel and Sharon Chessmore of Vue Cinemas. They accepted their mini, remote control Roadsters with gratitude but also the knowledge that they came so close to what might have been.

Sarah Green, from Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work, said “The turnout was very impressive. With such a great prize on offer, competition was fierce but the final three contestants enjoyed a great deal of support from their colleagues and the whole competition was played in fantastically high spirits. The Enjoy-work brand is all about offering something different and exciting to the guests on the park, and we extend our warmest congratulations to Biju for winning the grand prize.”
