Event sold out in 3 minutes and waiting list is full
Anyone hoping to attend the Chiswick Business Park annual firework display this year is set for disappointment as the tickets have all been taken. When they were offered online earlier this month they were all snapped up in a record 3 minutes and the waiting list is also full. No entry will be available on the day of the event which is Thursday 2 November. In previous years, before ticketing was introduced, there were safety concerns raised about the number of people attending. Pre-Covid over 5,000 people would come along to see the display which including over 30,000 individual fireworks being set off. Security concerns about the earlier presence of the Iran International television station at Chiswick Business Park are believed to have resulted in a reduction of the number of tickets being made available for security reasons. There will be no public access to or through Chiswick Business Park from 10am on the day of the display. Virgin Active users accessing the park in car or on foot will be required to show their membership card and employees of companies in the development will need to show their ID card to get access. The Footbridge from Colonial Drive and Bollo Lane will be open from 10am to 2pm for office workers and Virgin Active users. From 2pm the only means of entering or leaving the development will be via Chiswick High Road. Buses will not be serving Chiswick Business Park all day and no vehicle movement will be permitted between 5pm and 8:30pm Entry to the display will only be permitted with a ticket from 5:30pm. Bags will be checked and no alcohol can be brought to the site.
