The management of Chiswick Business Park is looking to increase the proportion of people working at the site cycling to work with the launch of new Cycle Hubs.

The facilities represent a significant upgrade of existing onsite cycling provision.

The latest data management has is from a survey of staff at businesses on the campus held last year which shows that 13% cycle to work, a slight increase on 2019.

Bike parking has now been expanded from 500 to 800 spaces for bicycles across all buildings.

A Cycle Hub is located in the undercroft of each building and available every day. Each Cycle Hub features bike racks, a bike repair station and has 24/7 security and CCTV.

There are also shower rooms, lockers and changing facilities in each building, and free monthly bike servicing.

Workers at Chiswick Business Park also have the option to hire a bike. The Enjoy-Work Concierge Service offers a selection of bike hire including Enjoy-Work bikes, Brompton folding bikes or Brompton electric folding bikes for both short- and long-term hire. All bikes are available to book via the Enjoy-Work app. In total, Enjoy-Work has a fleet of 75 bikes available to hire.

“Active travel is an important part of our ESG strategy. The Enjoy-Work Cycle Hub helps us create a change in Guest’s travel habits with many of them opting for cycling as a safer way to travel during the pandemic.” said Gary Blackledge, Operations Director Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work.

Chiswick Park also offers bicycle parking for any visitors on the Campus.
