Yellow Umbrella Day 2011

Charitable family festival hosted by Chiswick Park's Enjoy Work

Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work is hosting Yellow Umbrella Day, a family festival and sponsored run and walk on Sunday 18 September.

As a community event the walk & run route have been carefully planned to take advantage of some of the beautiful Chiswick environment. They ’ve avoided busy roads, encompassed the beauty of the river and ensured it's safe and fun for all the family!

The walk and run will set off at 11am and entertainment will run from 12pm – 4pm. Activities will include a farmer’s market, fun and games for children of all ages and plenty of food and drink. There will also be a 10m ‘Woddle’ for toddlers, run by The Little Gym Chiswick.

This is the ninth year for Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work’s Yellow Umbrella Day and this year it will be raising vital funds for children's hospice service Shooting Star CHASE, which supports local families with a child or teenager not expected to reach their 19th birthday.

There’ll be something for all the family, as well as plenty of free parking on site.
