Man in his twenties dies after collision with car on Kew Road

A 28-year-old motorcyclist has died after being involved in a collision with a car on Kew Road this Sunday (30 July).

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which took place shortly before 12.25pm at the junction with Lichfield Road by the Kew Garden's Victoria Gate.

An air ambulance was called to the scene but the man died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the car involved stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries. No arrests have been made..

Temporary road closures in the area have now been lifted.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call investigating officers from the Roads and Transport Policing Command on 020 8543 5157.
