Car Overturns Near Grove Park Bridge

Man in his sixties taken to hospital but injuries not serious

There were road closures in Chiswick this Monday morning (22 May) after a car overturned near the Grove Park Bridge.

The incident occurred at some point before 11.12am. Police say there was a collision involving two cars and both drivers stopped at the scene. A man believed to be in his sixties was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police prevented traffic travelling between Wilmington Avenue and Sutton Court Road until 12.30pm. That stretch of the road becomes Burlington Lane as in approaches Chiswick station.

No arrests were made.
