Motorcyclist Killed on A4 in Chiswick | ||||
Collision occurred close to Chiswick Roundabout last night
A 29-year-man riding a scooter died yesterday evening (Sunday 8 May) after being involved in a collision in Chiswick. The accident occurred on the westbound stretch of the Great West Road (A4) at junction 1 of the M4, at approximately 9.40pm. Traffic queueing after accident The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. Although he has not been formally identified, his next of kin have been informed. At this stage no other vehicles are thought to be involved. Police would like to hear from witnesses or anyone who recalls seeing a grey scooter travelling westbound at the location around the time of the collision. The A4 was closed yesterday evening with westbound traffic being diverted over Chiswick Bridge and Kew Bridge.
