Taken to hospital with suspected shoulder injury

A motorcyclist in his forties was injured in a collision on the A4 near Sutton Court Road this Friday(11 September).

The incident happened at around 9.30 a.m. and traffic was delayed for a time due to two lanes being closed on the A4.

London Ambulance treated a man at the scene and he was taken to West Middlesex Hospital. His injuries were not believed to be serious. Police also attended the scene.

The road has now fully reopened.

The junction has been the scene of numerous collisions in the past and a consultation took place in 2013 about improving safety
