British Transport Police (BTP) are appealing for witnesses after a woman was struck by a train at Turnham Green tube station.

The 30-year-old woman from Richmond was struck by an eastbound Piccadilly Line train at the station around 10.20pm on Sunday 13th January.

The incident is being treated as non-suspicious, however detectives are currently working to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The woman was taken to Charing Cross Hospital by ambulance suffering from leg injuries. She has remained in hospital since Sunday and her condition is currently stable.
