Road closure leads to significant traffic delays in the Chiswick area

An overturned vehicle at the entrance to the Hogarth Flyover is causing serious traffic problems in the Chiswick area this afternoon (14th April).

The Mercedes people carrier appears to have collided with the width restriction barriers before tipping over. It was heavily laden with luggage and had a green provisional license plate.

Eye-witnesses report that the driver emerged from the vehicle apparently unharmed.

The Hogarth Floyver has now reopened but TfL report that Hogarth Roundabout is very busy, causing westbound A4 delays and northbound queues on A316 Burlington Road.
