Elderly man died three days after being hit on South Parade

A elderly pedestrian has died after being in a collision with a pedal cyclist on South Parade.

The 87 year old man was hit near the junction with Fishers Lane at about 7.17pm on Thursday 8th August. He was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington. Initially it was thought that the injuries were not that serious but his condition deteriorated and he died in hospital three days later.

His next of kin have been informed.
