The accident happened in Staveley Road near junction with A316

A man in his thirties was taken to hospital with head injuries after being knocked down by a bus in Chiswick last night (June 13).

The accident happened in Staveley Road close to the junction with the A316 at around 9 pm, according to police.

London Ambulance were quickly on the scene and the man was taken to St. Mary's Hospital Trauma Centre as a priority patient.

There were unconfirmed reports that the bus involved was an E3, whose route takes it from Edensor Road, along the A316 and turning right into Staveley Road past Chiswick School and onto the Chiswick Station.
