Saturday morning classes for children to be launched at Chiswick Playhouse
B.U School, a new series of Saturday morning classes for children to have fun, make friends and develop new skills is launching next month at Chiswick Playhouse (formerly the Tabard Theatre). They are giving you the chance to experience what the classes will have to offer through a free taster session. They have limited places available and there is no obligation to sign up for a term of courses if you attend the taster day. B.U School says it is much more than just a stage school. Each week children will get involved with a new activity. Things like: sketch comedy, improvisation, public speaking, acting on screen, learning new accents or even delivering their very own podcast! Classes will run from 10am to 11.30am for ages 5-7 and 12pm to 1.30pm for ages 8-11. Autumn term runs from Saturday 12 September to Saturday 5 December. A spokesperson for B.U. School said, “Whilst busy getting involved in all these activities, children will be learning and developing. Self-Awareness, Self-Confidence and Well-Being is central to everything we do. “They will come away from B.U School having had a great time and also with communication skills that they will be able to use for the rest of their lives.” B.U. School hopes to launch at other locations in addition to Chiswick Playhouse. If you are interested in signing up email sophie@chiswickplayhouse.co.uk.
