Chiswick Playhouse 'Buy A Seat' Appeal Continues
Almost half their target raised with final push for donations to help them 'Play On'

The Chiswick Playhouse, which appealed to local theatregoers to make donations so that it can stay afloat has reached early half their target of £20,000.
They launched a 'Buy A Seat' campaign and while over 100 supporters signed up, they are still keen to sell the remaining 72 seats before the deadline of April 20th.

All those that pledge for 'Buy a Seat' will be acknowledged on a display dedicated to this difficult time in the theatre foyer.
The theatre said: "Following the government advice regarding Covid-19 we closed our doors on Tuesday 17th March initially for the next 12 weeks. We’d really like to thank all of you for your continued support as we work together through this incredibly difficult period.
"As a self-sustaining company we receive no government funding. We are proud of what we’ve achieved as an independent theatre creating entertainment for our local audience and for theatre goers from further afield. But without being able to mount productions over the next few months and welcome audiences in, we face a huge challenge to stay afloat and be ready to reopen when this period is over. So we desperately need your help to enable Chiswick Playhouse to Play On.
