New branch opened on Turnham Green Terrace
August 11, 2023 The MP for Brentford and Isleworth, Ruth Cadbury, has officially opened a Mind Charity Shop in Chiswick this week and bought herself a new jacket while she was doing it. The new branch is at 51 Turnham Green Terrace next to Postmark and Lizard. Previously, this long vacant unit has hosted businesses such as Samba Swirl, Borough Wines and Molly M. Ms Cadbury posted on her Twitter feed, “V pleased to officially open the new @MindCharity shop on Turnham Green Terrace and delighted to find a jacket for work (with an amazing lining!) “All income raised at the shop goes helps those needing mental health support, campaign for better mental health services & end stigma.” Philip Morgan, Regional Manager at Mind, says, “We’re so excited to welcome the people of Turnham Green to this new Mind shop. Only with the community’s support will we be able to raise vital funds for Mind’s work such as the Infoline, information and advice services, and the campaigning Mind does to support the one in four of us who experience a mental health problem every year. There are very easy ways that everybody can get involved such as donating quality items, volunteering in the shop, or simply shopping at the store. I urge locals to visit the shop or get in touch to find out more about how they can support us.”
Mind also has a branch at 392a Chiswick High Road and the charity says visitors will be able to continue shopping at this location.
