Celia Harper and Singers of Chiswick Baroque

This summertime ‘mixed bag’ programme of a cappella, solo and ensemble vocal music will include Monteverdi and Weelkes madrigals, well known folk-songs, sacred music, two commissioned settings of Yeats poems, and Spirituals – both old favourites and some new arrangements.

Chiswick Baroque is a 5 voice a cappella singing group directed by composer Celia Harper. Based in Chiswick, CB performs vocal music from 11th - 21st centuries with a particular interest in 17th century and tonal modern compositions, spirituals and traditional music.
