Cedars Youth Project Gets Community Grant

Planning to set up a youth drop in club this spring

CEDARS Youth project which is based in the Methodist Church on Sutton Court road, has received a grant from Hounslow Council to trial a weekly drop-in youth club.

The idea is to encourage teenagers to attend by providing a range of activities and space to meet. Aiming for 30 young people to attend.

The club applied for the grant of £500 to cover the cost of
sports equipment, crafts materials and furniture.

The funding is part of the Hounslow Council's Community Grant scheme which provides revenue funding of up to £15,000 to voluntary and community sector led projects and services in the borough.

CEDARS hope to start the project in April or May.
