Jo from Jo Blu salon tended to the curly locks of superstar before her concert

Jo at Jo Blu Salon & Michaella at After Glow, both based in Chiswick, were asked to style Carole Kings Hair & Make up in her concert at Hyde park last Sunday.

The legendary songwriter was playing her first big venue concert in thirty years, along with her band, which included her daughter Louise Goffin and grandson Dylan playing the bass guitar.

Jo said she was delighted to be asked to work with such an icon of the music industry.

"She was a complete delight to work with. She sang her heart out on stage at the age of 74 and had everyone up dancing".

Jo particulrly enjoyed the hits such as 'You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman', The Locomotion, and of course ' You've Got A Friend'.

Jo Blu salon is based in Grove Park (it used to be called Chocolat).
