TV faces hope to have a hit for charity
A group of antique dealers have traded telly for charity and are hoping to have a Christmas hit with the Sleigh Ride song recorded in Chiswick at Metropolis Studios. Antique Collecting columnist Charles Hanson, Charlie Ross, (Antiques Road Trip), Philip Serrell (Bargain Hunt, Flog It!) and James Braxton, (Antiques Road Show) are hoping to top the charts for Children in Need and Great Ormond Street Hospital. The song can be downloaded on I Tunes. The four singers dressed as rock stars Charles Hanson said: “Before we’re going, going, gone we might just make a mark for charity and bring a bit of festive spirit and sparkle into people’s lives. “We rocked to the music for an incredible charity, and hope the single brings people across the UK some Christmas cheer, but above all we hope to raise money to support children and young people across the UK who need our help."
