The project to transform the walls with a giant mural is starting Sarah with the James and Tony Kidby look at an example of a panel
A test panel has been produced of the mural which will soon adorn the walls under the railway arches at Turnham Green Terrace. Sarah Cruz and Karen Liebreich of Abundance, drove down to St Leonards, to the Links Signs factory, a family firm, run by two brothers, James and Tony Kidby and saw the first sample panel that Links had created in vinyl. "We had only previously seen our designs on an A4 sheet, or a computer screen, so we were completely blown away to see it life size. It was so big! And so bright!" Local group, Abundance London, is creating a huge mural – 64m long in total, 2.5m high - to transform the dingy walls outside Turnham Green tube where the road passes below the District and Piccadilly lines. They hope to have the project up and running this summer.
