22 year old Brooke Burfitt being kept busy

22 year old Brooke Burfitt of Turnham Green has featured in a range of British independent films since she started her acting career after leaving UCL last Summer with an Economics degree.

`I have been lucky to be cast in so many new movies,’ says Brooke, who also hosts the 5-7pm Friday drive time `The Brooke & Ed Show’ with comic Ed O’Meara on Hammersmith’s 101.4 ON FM station. `I am most fortunate to be living in West London, where we have some of the best talent and theatres in the world.'

Brooke’s roles include featuring in 'Pulp' with John Thomson, 'Death' with Nick Moran, as Joe Egan's girlfriend Sarah in 'On The Ropes' and an aspiring model kidnapped into the sex industry ‘Trade’. In the Summer, she plays Permania in East-end gangster flick 'Coolio' and the lead role as a 15 year old The Soft Touch directed by Robin Boyd.
