Residents have the chance to discuss matters of local interest at the Chiswick Area Forum meeting which will take place on Tuesday, 4 September.

The CAF will take place at Chiswick Town Hall, Heathfield Terrace, Chiswick W4 at 7.30pm. You can read the full Agenda here.

One item of particular local interest is likely to be Hounslow Council's new Transport Policy.

In brief, the meeting will discuss the Confirmation of Vice-Chair and appointments of the Area Forum for the municipal year, as well as the role of the Community Champion.

Tracking of issues of local importance will take place, and a Local Policing Update will be given.

Mark Frost, Transport Officer for Hounslow Council is expected to attend to brief on the Council's New Transport Strategy.

Protocol for the Open Forum

¨ Written items to be submitted where possible. (Proforma sheets will be available at the back of the hall).

¨ Where they are so submitted this should be by 8.30pm. Speakers will be allowed at the Chair’s discretion.

¨ The Chair will normally only allow one contribution per person per item and one item per person per meeting.

Items on the main agenda should not be raised in the open forum.

¨ Items where the debate cannot be contained within the public forum may be continued at a future forum or may be put on a future agenda with an officer’s report.
